Dr Ghaith graduated from Baghdad Medical University 2006. After this, he moved to Duhok (Kurdistan of Iraq), where he worked for five years, completing his internship and Diploma of Family Medicine. In 2011, Dr Ghaith and his wife moved to Tasmania, where she completed her studies in Biomedical Science. Whilst she was studying, Dr Ghaith completed his Australian Medical Exam, so he could work as an Australian Doctor. Dr Ghaith has worked in numerous emergency departments, such as Ballarat, Bendigo and Bairnsdale Hospital ED.
After making the move to Bairnsdale in 2015, he has fallen in love with Gippsland. Especially having the opportunity to do all what he loves, which is outdoor activities from Kayaking to MTB riding to motorcycle riding.
Qualifications: FACRRM with emergency advanced specialist training.
