Meet the General Practitioner Team

James completed his medical training in Queensland in 2020, working regionally in Hervey Bay for 3 years before moving back to Victoria in 2024.

He is currently enrolled with ACRRM undertaking rural generalist training and works part time at CAMC and BRHS.

Dr Ran hails from the tropical shores of Sri Lanka.

She has been working at CAMC and DJP since February 2022.

Prior to this, she worked at Bairnsdale Regional Health Service and Eastern Health.

Her special interests are chronic disease management, palliative care, and health planning. She loves reading, watercolours and trying out new recipes – be sure to mention your favourites when you next see her!

Dr James Wimbury is currently enrolled with ACRRM college for his Rural Generalist Program and works at both Cunninghame Arm Medical Centre and Dr Jane’s Place on a part-time basis.

Dr Bibhushana (Bibs) Shrestha is currently with ACRRM college for her Rural Generalist Program and enjoys working at Dr Jane’s Place.

Prior to this Dr Bibs has worked at various hospitals with Monash Health before deciding to move to primary care.

She graduated her medical degree from Bangladesh and has overseas experience from Nepal’s tertiary hospitals.

Dr Bibs has interests in preventative care, Paediatrics and Women’s health.

She was born on the laps of Mount Everest (Kathmandu actually!) and has enjoyed her childhood enjoying the great view of mountains. While away from work, she enjoys quite time with her family and enjoys travelling and experiencing new cultures and traditions.

Dr Jeetah is a GPT3 registrar who joined CAMC from February 2026.

Originally from the sunny island of Mauritius, Dr Jeetah arrived in Australia in 2015 where he graduated from Melbourne University with both a Bachelor of Biomedicine in 2017 and a Doctor of Medicine in 2021.

Dr. Jeetah has worked in a diverse range of medical specialties at Northern Health and Eastern Health, two of Melbourne's major hospital networks and brings a well-rounded approach to patient care.

His interests include:
Skin Cancer Care, Children's Health, Chronic Diseases Management and Women's Health Languages spoken include - English, French, Mauritian Creole & Hindi

Dr Dias grew up in the beautiful coastal shores of Goa in India. She completed her Medical degree in India in 2019 and gained valuable experience working in rural areas of this country.

She moved to Australia in 2021 and worked at Bendigo Hospital and Bairnsdale Regional Health Services.

She is currently enrolled with ACRRM GP training. Her interests include Chronic Disease Management, Preventative Medicine, Dermatology, Palliative Care and Women’s health.

Over the past year, she worked in Palliative Care at LRH in Traralgon and this has strengthened her ability to provide holistic and patient centred care.

She is a strong advocate of prevention as the best medicine.

Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, outdoor adventure with her husband and caring for her indoor plants.

Languages spoken include English, Hindi and Konkani.

Dr. Nicholas Vinko Ante Wilkes came from Canada to Melbourne in 2017 to start his medical training and graduated from Monash University Medical School in 2021.

Since 2019, Dr Wilkes has worked across Gippsland at Traralgon, Bairnsdale and Lakes Entrance. He first came to Cunninghame Arm Medical Centre as a medical intern in 2022 and came back to CAMC as a RACGP registrar after finishing his hospital training at Bairnsdale Regional Health Service.

Dr. Wilkes decided to live and work entirely in East Gippsland as he and his wife, who he met during their rural placement at Monash medical school, both enjoy the work and social aspects of the area. They both aspire to become rural general practitioners in East Gippsland.
